Lettuce brings the funk to the Teragram Ballroom
3.19.17
Lettuce, the heavy-hitting funk outfit hailing from Brooklyn, NY barreled their way down the West Coast and brought the Mt. Crushmore Tour to the sold-out Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles with support from the Russ Liquid Test.
The band is in top form right now, even without the presence of guitarist Eric Krasno, and always have an electric energy about their live shows. The horns of Eric 'Benny' Bloom and Ryan Zoidis aka The Shady Horns, mixed with the fatty basslines of founding member Erick 'Jesus' Coomes, masterful percussion of Adam Deitch, all chopped together with Adam 'Schmeeans' Smirnoff on guitar and the ever-so-playful Nigel Hall and Neal Evans on keys make for the healthiest dose of live funk music on the scene today.
